This book is a magical experience walking you through the Psalms. The illustrations beautifully represent the story in which you are reading. We are so happy that we got given this book to review by Christian Focus. We love finding different resources that we can use to expand our faith. This book is a perfect addition to our collection. Psalms for My Day is filled with gentle reminders of Gods love.
A little bit about the books
This book has 31 of the Psalms, a little devotion for each, a prayer, and corresponding illustrations. We used this book as a nighttime story devotional with our children. My children really loved the little devotionals that go along with the psalms. They were nice because they weren’t too long. To read the entire thing for the day, one psalm with the devotional and prayer only took about 10-15 minutes.
I love how out of all the psalms they chose ones that would be a perfect representation of who God is and His personality traits. It really allows a window into how good God really is and all of the great things that He does for us. I also really like how simple the prayers are in this book. They were easy for my children to understand and we were able to simply use them to start off our nightly prayer. The style of illustrations is one of my favourite kids so it was really appealing to me. The illustrations look like beautiful paper crafts and painting, they are very child friendly but I truly think that anyone would like them.

Who would this be good for?
This would be an amazing book to buy for your own family. I think that even people who aren’t children could see the beauty in this book and enjoy it. This would make a great gift for a small child just finding themselves in their faith or even a family who is looking to find comfort in God. I think that this book would be easy for a new believer to digest and provides some much-needed comfort in this broken world. At the price of £11.95, it’s really a great option for those easy gifts.
