I find that sometimes our homeschool day only consists of reading books together and watching some great shows and videos. When we first started homeschooling I never thought that we would be including Netflix in our educational plan. Little did I know that there are so many great shows that children (and adults) can learn from. There’s everything from learning how to read and basic math all the way to complex science and history.

Ask The Story Bots – Following robots as they explain how things work.
The Magic School Bus & Magic School Bus Rides Again – Science explained through class field trips via magic bus that takes the students inside what they are learning.
Planet Earth & Planet Earth 2 – Stories of animals and places all over the world.
Super Genius – Magazine style show covering a ton of topics not only science.
Social Studies
The Who Was? Show – Historical peoples lives reinacted in a comedical way by a school class.
PBS Documentaries – Different documentaries about key points in human history.
